Arsenal ladies have beaten the unbeatable in a shocking 1-0 win against Barcelona on the 24th of may in the José Esdae stadium in Lisbon. 

Arsenal ladies last won this trophy in 2007 nearly 18 years ago, this shocking news has reinvented history. I will tell you about my first hand experience on my lucky trip to watch history be made! This dream started when i watched us beat Juventus 1-0 in the 90th minute in the group stages, this is when I started to believe we could win. The past years Arsenal have been struggling with ACl injuries a mix of players and managerial problems but as soon as Renee Seeger’s became the manager we believed we could so we did. 

I then witnessed the comeback against Real Madrid winning 4-2 coming back from 2-0 down brilliant atmosphere. This allowed us to go against Lyon who have won the champions league 8 times and yet again Arsenal came back in the second leg away and win 4 - 1. We then spent the extortionate price to watch the final. The fan zone the day before was exctatic we met legend Jen Beatie and Alex Scott (who scored the winner in 2007 18 years ago) and then joined together as fans being proud to be a Gooner and singing loud and proud with chants. Then the day came, the end all. We were ready and left 4 hours early to go to the magnificent stadium i was massive and people were in klarge crowds singing and ready for the battle. The game was fierce and passionate and even though there were more barecelona fans in the stadium we were louder Lisbon had been taken over by the Arsenal. The gameee was tough  and passionate all the arsenal players put their lives on the line to ensure the win we rode the waves of Barcelona taking charge and then when it was time and the opportunity came we took it and Beth mead assisted beautifully and staying blackstenius perfectly placed it in then back of the net and th crowed roared all around me people crying screaming and jumping up and down what a moment to live in absolutely unimaginable almost fake. 

The last 15 minutes that followed was agonising everyone was trimming panicking tryoing to keep the lead it was nail biting everyone holding onto eachother and praying. Then that joyous sound of that final whistle made the crowd roar again and it didn’t stop for hours brilliant absolutely brilliant.
